Galveston Vacation

DSC_0132

You are seeing right. Look at that CAR!!! Michael started screaming for me to get the camera.  This thing driving down the road was so funny.  Can you imagine driving this anywhere??

While in Galveston, we took the fairy to the other side of the island.  The kids loved getting to drive onto this big, huge, ship. On the way back, we saw dolphins everywhere.  I took pictures but they just look like little  black dots in the water. I’ll show you in a minute.

Austin, brought along his friend, Acy. Of course, Abbie had to be in the middle of everything they did.  Acy, was a great buffer between these two.

Michael’s mom came with us too.  She was a big help.  We enjoyed having her with us for the week.

The boys wanted a picture taken of them with the cruise ship in the background.  Can you see it?

There is my sweetheart.  You can’t get away from me!!

See that black spec out there dead center??  It’s a dolphin.

The kids were totally captured by the cruise ship.  Austin, is begging to go on a cruise.  I’m right there with him.  I would love too go on one.

The sun was in Abbie’s eyes.  She couldn’t believe how big the ship was.

Austin, wrote “Galveston Island” in the sand.

Acy and Austin are kindred spirits.  I just wished that Austin had some of Acy’s nice manners.

The kids had a great time playing at the beach.  It was a great vacation.  It was nice to get away and RELAX!!!  Well, some of us did.

Looks like you had a lot of fun on your trip to Galveston. I know it was hard to get into the swing of things after mom's illness....I agree with Michael, even though it was hard, I do beleive the kids will remember these trips. You are making memories. In a few years from now, you will look back with a tender heart on things like this.

Girl, I couldn't beleive that car!!! Oh. My. Goodness.!!!!! How in the world do they wash that thing? It's a wonder some of the items don't become a flying object and bust someone's windshield! Flying projectiles are bad.

I love you,
Me

Your pictures bring back fun memories. I would LOVE to go back to Galveston. The kids ask at least once a month when we are going back. :)

That car was fun to see. You are super quick with the camera. I wouldn't have been able to get mine out fast enough! :)
