My visiting teacher brought one of these over to me and I thought that I could use them as a gift for the YW at camp.
Found this idea here. She is such a genius. I’m so grateful for creative women. These lanterns were a hit with our girls.
I made these only for our 4th yr (level) girls. I think our YW in the ward wanted one too. I will make an activity sometime soon and have them make one. I found the idea here. If only mine could have turned out as cute as hers.

We were so blessed to have these girls. They were so fun. They kept Donella and myself laughing the whole week. The whole camping experience went well for the most part. However, there were times that I doubted that I could make the week. I have never seen so many icky bugs in my life. They were everywhere in our cabins. I even came home with a “TICK”!!! Can you believe?? I can’t even start to think about camp for 2011. I still have to digest what we just went through.

I'm so glad your girls were able to have a great time. That is truely what girls camp is all about, isn't it? I know you had some "bumps" during the week, but look how much stronger you are now for going thru it! I love you!
