Spring Break for the kiddos

NOPE!!…………………..My kids just wanted to stay home for Spring Break.  Who would have thought? Austin’s perfect vacation is  staying home and playing “soldier’s” outside with his ninja buddy. They love to get out their air soft guns and go at it against one another.  Abbie,  has been right under my feet BORED to tears because none of her friends are available to play.  WOW!! I know a mom who is ready for spring break to be over already.  Don’t get me wrong, I love and enjoy my children but its so hard the older they get to please everyone. I have been able to get up early and sneak in my morning swim class and workout.  My foot is doing much better.  I don’t know if its from the anti-inflammatory medication that I’m taking or the blessing Michael gave me.  All I know is that my foot is not swelling as big as a  basketball anymore and it doesn’t hurt too bad to put pressure on it.  It has been a long 2 1/2 weeks with foot pain. But, we are now on the road to recovery.  This past weekend we got out and worked in the yard.  We burned limbs and leaves.  We also worked in our flower beds trying to get them ready for Spring.  Today is such a pretty day with the sun shinning brightly.  I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
