Abbie’s Spring picture
Blister that I got while working on project
Our P-R-O-J-E-C-T
Abbie was so proud of her Spring pictures that she had taken at school. I tried to be positive about them. She wanted to wear her hair up in a ponytail that day of all days. I didn’t have the time to argue with her so I let her. Now, she looks like she doesn’t have any hair. I’m not too worried. She will be having her baptism photos taken soon so no worries.
I figured while the boys are off with granddaddy at the camp, Abbie and I would work on a little project. She loved this one. I found how to do it here. It looked so easy and something we could do fairly quickly. Abbie used her pattern skills and worked her magic. I happened to get distracted and an egg that I had just placed hot glue on fell on my thumb and I was in mass pain and couldn’t remove it fast enough. Believe me, I paid attention to what I was doing from that moment on. We got 1/2 of the ring finished and I noticed that the other bag of eggs that I had gotten was not shiny like the ones I had just used. Abbie tried to convince me just to use them anyway. The colors were a bit off and I really liked the shiny eggs. Next thing we knew, we were headed back to Target to return that bag and get the shiny eggs that we needed to finish our project. Didn’t it turn out cute?? Abbie got so excited she said, “Mom, why don’t we make one for my teacher?” I’m still debating on that one.
Now, I’m off to get milk for our project tomorrow. The youth in our ward are doing “Roadside Clean Up”. Actually, this is our service project that we are sharing with the other wards for Youth Conference. Bro. Tannery is making a video of the morning. I’m excited to see how it turns out. The youth are fired up. Maybe the doughnuts while help their energy level. I’m sure I will have lots to share tomorrow when we are done.

The wreath turned out great! I think Abbie looked adorable in her picture. You can tell her hair is pulled up, not that it is missing all together. haha I love ya!
oops. That last comment was from me. I guess Mother was still signed into her gmail account on my laptop. haha You really inspire me with all your beautiful projects!
I loved the wreath. You definitely have a real talent for these type of things. I am so proud of you.
