Look at these BEAUTIES!!!

Tulips3 002 Tulips3 004

These tulips are especially beautiful today. This morning, I was sweeping our porch and thought, I would share the beauty with you. The sun is out and its feeling more like Spring. It’s about time.

This morning, I also got out some of my Easter things. The kids will be thrilled to see their Easter baskets out and ready to hide eggs (they LOVE doing that). Abbie has been telling me for weeks now that the Easter bunny isn’t real. When we are at the store and we see Easter baskets filled with toys and candy, she will point at them and say, “See…….Mom, he isn’t real”. I know that she is old enough to know that the Easter bunny isn’t real BUT I can’t tell her. I love the excitement of it all. Call me young at heart.

The tulips are beautiful! Thanks for sharing your beauty with me. :)

Emma was telling me today that she knows the easter bunny isn't real and all I said was "oh really?". There is something to be said for the sheer childlike love of not knowing. :) We shall see how long it lasts at our house. :)

There is a magical quality to not 'knowing'. Once the truth is out, it can diminish. Hopefully, once she finds out the truth, she won't hold it agaist you that you lied to her. A certain young man I know turned his back on his parents upset that we had lied to him for years about all of it. Honestly, deep down, I think he was just angry that Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy weren't real..he just took his anger out on his parents.
Your flowers are beautiful. They inspire me to get out and work in my yard today. Maybe I'll purchase something and put in the beds to freshen them up.
I love the new blog header. Awesome and completely yours.

I love and miss you.

You know, I like the rule - it doesn't bring presents if the person doesn't believe it exists.

Abbs is a doll. I love that spunky girl!

I love you, too, Dana.
