This is where they were showing Mamma Mia. We had to walk past it to get to the Stardust Diner.
We went and saw The Lion King on Saturday night. The sets were really cool but after seeing Wicked on Friday, it was hard not to compare the two shows. Before we went to this show, we ate at The Stardust Diner. It was so freaking cool!!! Your waiters and waitresses sing and dance and serve you all at the same time. Here are some pictures to explain. This place was rockin’ and loud!! We all had a blast!!!
We had so much fun Saturday night at the Stardust that we went back on Sunday for more. I told our waitress that Abbie was having a birthday. Okay, its at the end of the month, but I knew that it would be awesome for her to be included in the birthday celebrations. Can you tell that Abbie was mortified?!?!
To work here at this diner, you have to audition in front of the crowd. One girl, auditioned on Sunday evening while we were there. Most of the workers are awesome at singing, dancing and serving. They goal is to work your way onto broadway. They mentioned that last month they lost 11 workers to different shows. It’s a “Must See” if ever going to New York.
Hershey Store
American Natural Museum
Right across the street from the Museum is Central Park. Remember…. this is on Easter Sunday.
Sharon, was trying to figure out which subway we needed to get on to locate the Manhatten Temple. It was about 10 blocks from where we were in Central Park. She did a great job and before we knew it this is what we saw……
On the back of the temple block we found the studio where they shoot the show “Live with Kelly”.
Juilliard
The Metropolitan Opera House
Lincoln Center
Philharmonic at the Lincoln Center
The girls got ice cream in Central Park and finished before getting on the subway.
Finally, we made our way to Rockefeller Center
I liked this topiary that was in the middle of the square.
Right across the street was Christie’s auction. I couldn’t get all the window displays. They were pretty cool.
We went inside Bloomingdale’s just to look around. I just imagined what it would look like at Christmas time.
Apple Store right outside of FAO. You walk in this glass building and walk downstairs to the actual store underground.
One of the places Amber wanted to visit was the Dash (Kardashin)store. They had a security guard standing outside and only allowed so many people in the store at once.
We happened to be walking back from Chinatown and I loved all of the outside cafe’s. It seemed like a setting out of France.
Seeing these steps is totally what I invisioned when I thought about neighborhoods in New York.
Look at this building and all the window units. These buildings are old. This was a very narrow street. It made me think of Seinfeld’s neighborhood.
Getting back to the airport from our hotel wasn’t anything like our first cab ride. We rode in a black nice Surburban and this guy was Arab or something. He was nice but he to drove really fast. LOL!!!
Once at the airport, the reality of vacation being over hits. Then, we find out our plane and everyone else’s has been delayed due to high winds. It just sets us back about an hour then we were off to Dallas. Overall, the trip was so much fun!! We spent enough time to see a ton of things. I’m sure if I go back I will see a ton more that I missed on this trip.

What an exciting adventure! Thanks for sharing all your great pictures. It's as if you allowed me to come along and not have to take 50 anxiety meds to walk down the street. haha I'm so glad you and Abbie were able to go and have a great time with Sharon and everyone! Love ya!!!!
I loved these pictures. I loved your outfits. You looked so stylish in your zebra scarf and red jacket. Looked like one of the stars from Gossip Girl!
