We got up early on Saturday morning to head to New Jersey. Amber wanted to get there early. We got to a later start because Abbie wouldn’t get up and dressed fast enough. We had to purchase an additional special metro pass to get here. It didn’t take us too long. Once we found the bakery there was already a line to get inside. We waited about an 1 1/2 hrs in the cold. It was in the low 40’s. Jan and her family left us in the line and they went off and got themselves doughnuts. We finally got our number and went inside and the girls were so excited. One of their workers called our number ready to take our order. I started making small talk with her. I asked how many bakeries they had and she said only that one with one factory. Then, I asked does Buddy ever come around? She sad “Yes, and that he was supposed to stop by today!” We got hopeful and then another worker said “Buddy, is here!” Then, I saw him!! I started screaming and he stopped right in front of us. Abbie reached out to shake his hand and I was able to snap a picture. He was so friendly with everyone and he had the film crew recording everything. He wasn’t in a rush to leave. He made sure he talked with everyone that was inside. Once we got our order, we left . We all were so excited!! My heart was beating so fast with excitement. Seeing him made Abbie and Amber’s trip to New York magical. Amber, kept telling Abbie that she was glad that she wouldn’t hurry and get dressed that morning. It all worked out like it should have. LOL!!!!!!
Here was the girl who was helping us. She was really nice, too.
It was a PERFECT day!!!

This trip was a trip of a lifetime. So glad yall had this experience.
It was a great trip! I'm so glad that Michael made sure that Abbie and I were given the opportunity to go and see it. There is just so much to see that you do have to plan ahead to make sure you see everything on your list.
