We rode on the ferry to get to Staten Island. I believe this was the only free thing we did. LOL!!! During this trip, you pass Ellis Island and The Statue of Liberty. They are doing renovations on the The Statue of Liberty currently so no one could enter inside. This ferry was huge! It looked exactly like the orange one in the third picture. I saw three different ferry’s. They have four stories and all the window seats are taken first because everyone wants to take pictres. Also on the way back to Manhatten the front of the ferry was jammed packed with photographers who wouldn’t move. I was able to take some pictures of the skyline only because I had a zoom lens and I poked it between two people.
Inside the ferry. The ride took about 30 minutes to get across.
This ladder company was right next to the towers. It was really sad thinking about these men and women who lost their lives.
This was inside the museum. This jacket was found blown apart and they found the fireman’s helmet weeks later. It was mangled.
This was the only statue that was left untouched. It was there on the grounds before the planes hit the towers. It was covered with debris after but was able to be cleaned and now it stand alone.
Where each tower stood now is a memorial of a waterfall with the names of each person who died . Each one is an acre if that gives you an idea of how big they were.
We went and saw Wicked on Friday, April 6th at 8pm. This was the best Broadway show!!! I LOVED it!!! The sets, lighting, costumes, orchestra, actors and actresses were fantastic! Everyone enjoyed this show.
This gigantic ferris wheel is in Toys R Us in Time Square. I’m so glad that Abbie wanted to ride on it. Jan, Ken, Lilly and Abbie rode together and I stayed below and took pictures.
F.A.O. Schwarz was everything you imagined…… Large and expensive!! I loved getting to play on the large piano keys. I always loved that scene on the movie “Big”. It looked like so much fun. However, it is smaller than what you think.
Amber, took this photo while they were in the bathroom at Hard Rock Cafe. These two girls were so cute together. I love both of them.
I saw this building and had to take a picture. I could see all those who were kicked off of the Apprentice shows getting into their limos right out front of this building.
I had to send this picture to my friend, Tiffany. Jan wanted to go in but we didn’t have time to really shop that day.
This Barbie house was inside of Toys R US upstairs.

Love these pictures, Dana. You are such an awesome photographer. Your shots of Lady Liberty were some of the best I have ever seen. Great job.
Thank you, Chris! I tried and it wasn't an easy task. Luckily, I had my cell phone to use a back up camera as well.
