Just another day

Last night, the young women decorated their gingerbread houses. I had to laugh inside because some looked awful and there were some that turned out really cute. The girls were very proud of their creations and I was too. The RS Mtg is tonight and I'm going (shocked????).It will be a good one to attend so I'm trying to have a positive attitude about it.

This morning I worked in the yard and planted my tulips. Hopefully they will sprout up in the Spring. Who knows what they will look like. I tried planting them in bunches to make a bigger impact but we shall see. This afternoon, I had to take Austin to the dentist once again to have his front tooth fixed (third time). Our dentist and neighbor is so kind. He wouldn't even let me pay him for fixing Austin's tooth. Austin feels so comfortable with him and I'm so grateful.

Oh, Michael told me late last night that he was eating lunch with Abbie on Friday. He asked me if I would like to join them? I told him that I thought that Abbie would just want the two of them and I politely said "No, thanks". This morning, Michael was getting Abbie up and was chatting with her. He asked, "Abbie, would you like Mommy to join us for lunch tomorrow?" She replied, "No, just you and me daddy!!" I think he was shocked that she just wants him all to herself. She has been begging him for a few weeks to come and join her for lunch. He has been extremely busy and couldn't make the time to accommodate. It has gotten pretty funny because Abbie wanted Michael to write a note to his boss asking for permission for him to eat with her. Abbie is so daddy obsessed!!! Both of my children are eat up with their daddy. I guess, I'm jealous. They would never fight over me. Oh well, when they get sick that always want me (I'm great at picking up vomit) =)

Oh Dana, Abbie and Austin love you as much as Michael. They just get to see you more often. :) I'm glad the girls had fun with the houses. You are such a great leader. :) Did you enjoy the meeting? Can I use your dentist/neighbor? I need to find one I like as well as the kids are comfortable with. :)

Hilarious! Don't worry, D. - just keep bribing your children and they'll come around. Wait - what?? That's not a winning strategy?? Oh, man ...

It hurts my teeth looking at all that candy? How can you not sample (just to make sure it's 'fresh'??!??)
