Sweet Things

I was so impressed at how the gingerbread houses turned out. The ladies who decorated did a fantastic job at making everything look and smell like Christmas. They ended up putting the houses on these cake stands (these stands are at Sam's right now- they have dome lids that cover them- great gift idea). These added height and really put the focus on the houses to make a big impact. (which made a world of difference). The girls were so proud of the houses and so was I. I brought home one last night to show Abbie and Austin. They were already asleep by the time that I got in because I stayed to help clean up. This morning, Abbie must have asked me a hundred questions about how I did this or that to make the house look so good. Who knows, we might just be making more around Christmas time with the kiddos. We shall see........
