My Pentas are doing really well this year. They look especially pretty today (besides the fact that Michael needs to weed). This butterfly seems pretty happy.

At least today was a little cooler outside while I mowed the yard. There was a nice breeze which I enjoyed as I wiped the sweat off my face. I'm hoping that I don't have to mow too much longer. I'm ready for some cooler weather. You can see in this picture that our pampass grass has gotten some new flumes on them. They are loving it back there. They are low maintenance and are much cheaper than a fence so there you go. :)

The flowers look great! Most of our grass is dead, so it doesn't need to be mowed. yeah! The forcast calls for rain and cooler temps for the next week. Maybe you guys will get some cooler weather also.
We must be neighbors! Every time I mow I keep thinking it's almost over..it's almost over. We are due to get tons of rain this weekend and sure fire it's gonna fuel up the grass again. Guess I will be mowing another month or so....I have been known to mow into November! Crazy~
Thanks Susie,
I love your site!! Thanks for all the tips!!! :)
I think we need to move north to be able to stop mowing. I guess I would rather mow than be freezing cold. The flowers are beautiful.
Well....I am no big Blogger nut...(Like your Susie girl!:0 ) but I rather enjoy your blog as well. Your pictures are awesome. Pretty cool getting a snap of the flowers with the butterfly. Awesome. I love photography.
I miss you.
