I'm so ready for the leaves to start to change and cooler weather to arrive. Today has been overcast with some misting. We are supposed to get some rain later in the day. Of course, I had to get out and go grocery shopping. Michael was kind enough to take me out to lunch (lucky me). Weather like this just makes me want to stay home and bake. I would of course be burning my pumpkin spice candle. This time of year, I always have something burning that gives off a strong smell of fall. I LOVE the Fall weather!!! This is my favorite season. I think its because I love the colors that go with the fall season. If you notice, the colors in my house are the same as autumn/fall colors. Today while I was out, I almost picked up a pumpkin. Sam's had these enormous ones but I held off. I don't want to get one too soon. Also, I wanted the kids to go with me to pick some out. This afternoon, we are going to be making mom's famous sugar cookies and letting the kids ice them {{memories}}. I'm just hoping both kids come home from school in good moods. If not, I'll save the baking for another day.

Fall is my favorite time of the year, too!!! It's the crisp air, the beautiful colors everywhere and the smell. Autumn definitely has a smell associated with it.
Especially in the home.
I miss the 4 seasons. We don't have a fall in Florida where I am located. It just stays green and HOT! I envy you. Enjoy that cool, crisp air and all of the beautiful scenery for me.

My favorite season is also fall. I absolutely love the cooler air. I love the colors of the trees. I love the relaxing feeling I get when it's that time of year!
You should go ahead and get the pumpkin if you want. You can always get more later. :)
I haven't made those sugar cookies in years. I think the last time was at Mother's house years ago. :) Wait until Friday and I will bring the kids over and we can do it together. HAHA
