Last night, Abbie and Michael sat down and wrote out what outfits she would wear everyday this week. It’s a shame that we even have to do this. But we all know Abbie and how she can melt down in a second. Our mornings are going to be CrAzY this year with football. And this agreement was a last ditch effort to help her not wear the same thing everyday and the screaming fits might be more controlled. It’s embarrassing but he had to take her shopping for clothes this year. She and I butt heads over clothes and most everything else. He took her out on Saturday and came home with a sack full of clothes that she agreed to wear. They have a special relationship and I’m so grateful. He can get her to do things that she would NEVER do for me! Why is that?? It was his idea to make a calendar and have her sign it and agree to it. Actually this morning went really well. They both got dressed with no arguments and came in and ate breakfast. We left on time and our morning was off to a great start.
Sorry this picture is out of focus. She wouldn’t look at me again so I could take another picture and I didn’t want to ruin the morning trying to get the perfect shot of her. So here it is……
Austin, actually let me take a picture of him. But wasn’t happy about it. This picture looks like a Mug Shot, doesn’t it? LOL!!!

ha ha ha ha!!!! I LOVE that girl!!! Def daddy's girl!!! I think that is sweet! She does love her mama though! I will never forget the sunday I sat behind yall and she had to be touching you at every moment! She would wrap your arm around her, she would be playing with your hands, your hair, your watch... She really does LOVE YOU!!! I see her growing up to be JUST LIKE YOU!! (and mary poppins- practically perfect in EVERY WAY!!!)
She'll laugh one day about her decisions. Remember when Charlotte had that horrid perm and would wear a funky hat everywhere! We didn't know WHAT to do with her! Hee Hee. Obviously she outgrew that! There's hope! :)
Charlotte...not trying to dog you but, honey, I don't know what got into you back then:0 !!!!!! Love you:)
What a great idea! I thank Heavenly Father everyday for uniforms!!! haha Elaina is the same way. Mike can get her to do things that I dream of getting her to do. Yep, you are right about Austin. It does look like a mug shot! haha And yes, you are correct, Chris. I was hideous as a child. It's alright. I can handle it. It was just because my hair took to curling so very well. Ahh, if only it did that now. :)
