Last night was another great activity with the youth. The young men did a fantastic job putting this evening together. We were all surprised with how many youth turned out. It was a success!! I thought the rain was going to get in the way but they had already planned for the weather. Things were organized and ran smoothly. After the kids got through with their carvings, they headed to the fire pit for s'mores (YUMMO!!). The leaders all got together and judged the carvings. The winners did a AWESOME job on theirs. They ended up making a helmet(like a football) out of their pumpkin and even wore it for awhile as the we were judging. The second place winner did a great job with the pumpkin vomiting (they are genius)!! The 3rd place winner carved out "trick or treat" on theirs. All the kids did a great job and had fun. It was a nice evening getting to be with the youth.
