Freedom Isn’t Free

 

 

I know…..I’m way behind on blogging. Let me catch up and start with what we did to celebrate the 4th of July. While attending pilates on Friday morning, the ladies were talking about Bullard’s firework show that evening. We didn’t have any plans so we packed up the kids and their friends and headed to Bullard to check it out.  They actually put on a pretty good show and we all had a great time.

  On the 4th, we went over to the Huckabee’s. They always have fun activities for the kids as well as the adults. They provided hot dogs and homemade ice cream. Lisa, made Mint Chocolate Chip and it was to DIE for. She told me that she would give me the recipe. I will stay on her until she does. =)  I’m usually not a fan of that flavor but this was really good.   We mingled with friends and ended the evening enjoying more fireworks. It was really nice being able to hang out with friends and enjoy our freedom in America.
