Metal Mouth

                                                           The new Austin

This morning around 9am we were at the orthodontist office.  Finally, Austin could have the spacers removed and have the brackets put on. His mouth is a little sore but he says it feels better than the spacers felt.

While in the office they asked him what color of bands he wanted.  He told them blue.  Michael was picking with him and said that he chose that color for Florida gators.   Austin started laughing and said Nooooo dad!!! Believe it or not, he let me take pictures of him with his new smile.  HOORAY!!!

This afternoon, the two boys left to go camping with Granddaddy Reeves. They were so excited!!! Austin even kissed me good bye!! That is the most affection he has shown me in awhile. I tried to get Michael to take Abbie as well and he wouldn’t hear of it. I knew by his look that this was a “guys only” trip.  I hope they have a great time bonding or whatever guys do when they get together.
