Homemade Bath Scrub

 
Last night, for YW we used the topic of “Personal Journaling” and had the girls wear their PJ’s.  We are always trying to reinforce how important it is to write in your journals about the goals they are working on.  The YW personal progress deals a ton with writing in your journals.  So with that, Donella talked about sleepwear and how there are pajamas, gowns, tshirts, etc and they are all different.  She also talked about how our Heavenly Father gave us our hands to be able to write our inner most feelings down.  The girls were given an opportunity to learn how to take care of their hands.  Sis. McKinney, taught the girls how to make their own bath scrub for their hands and body (cheap to make).  The girls loved scrubbing their hands and picking out their own flavor of what essential oil to use.  Then, we took the girls back down to the YW room and  had everything set up for manicures.  The girls were thrilled with this activity.  I thought I would post the scrub recipe for all my family and friends to see as well (it really did make my hands soooo soft).
