Austin, LOVES going to the zoo. He grew up going to the zoo in Abilene. I can remember many play dates were had at the zoo. Also, many times if we didn’t have much going on that particular day we would head to the zoo. Each year we would get a season pass and it was really paid for itself.
I asked each child before Spring Break what they would like to do. Austin, quickly told me that he wanted to go to the zoo. Abbie, was still undecided. We were fortunate and had a few really great days that were full sun but not too hot. We really had a great time. I hadn’t been to the Tyler zoo since Michael and I went on our first “real” date there many many years ago. LOL!!
Of course I wanted to go because it would be a bonding time for the kids. Lord knows they need that! Also, I could take as many pictures of them and the animals as I wanted. Oh, the things I will do to get a picture.
Oh, how I love my babies!!
Abbie, chose to go to West Monroe to see Duck Dynasty for her special day of Spring Break. Both kids picked wonderful things for us to do. I just want to make the clock stop and preserve the times. I hope that I will always remember these fun times that we have had together.

Looks like Austin chose well. I didn't realize you and Michael went there for your 1st date. What a fun time. :) Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves. I'm with you. Do whatever you can to get a picture. They are great kids!
