These are the Valentines for Abbie’s class. Everything in her little world has mustache’s in it so I thought these were fitting for her to give away. She LOVED them!!

Michael, brought home these hydrangeas with a bag of chocolate covered pretzels as well as my favorite candy pretzel M&M’s. He was so thoughtful and sweet to think of me. He also got me a card. He did good this year!!!

My plan was to help with a meal for a missionary conference that morning, then head to the hospital and leave balloons and a card in his truck. We usually don’t do much for one another, but this year he had gotten me another camera so I told him don’t do much but he did anyway. I’ve so blessed to have him in my life.

We came home from church on Wednesday evening and Abbie started digging in the pantry and then asked for tape, markers and paper. We had no clue as to what she was working on. The next morning, she said that what she had been working on was a gift for her teacher at school. I tried to talk her out of giving the gift because I knew that I hadn’t bought anything for her teacher and I figured it was something she had found in her room and wrapped up. She continued on and didn’t care what I thought and was so excited to give this gift. After taking the kids to school, I came home and started picking up left belongings in the car. I saw her blanket that goes with us everywhere, so I grabbed it and out fell this gift. I saw that it was written out to me and on all four sides she had written and drawn things. Seeing how hard she had worked and the excitement of giving this gift melted my heart. She had done all this for me!!!! I waited to open the gift until she got home from school that afternoon. I made sure to thank her over and over and give her big hugs. When I opened the box she had given me a notepad that had been used and a zip lock bag full of trial mix that she sees me eat often. It truly brought tears to my eyes because this gift was given with love. She can be a tough little girl to raise but its times like this that make it all worth it.
