Abbie, requested for me to make her cake (why??). All she asked was to have a peace sign on it. I usually make the peace sign wrong, so she was quick to tell me to get it right on her cake. You can see I was nervous because the peace sign is slanted……Oops!!!
This year the TAKS test fell on her birthday. Abbie was devastated to say the least. I couldn’t bring cupcakes or even eat lunch with her on her birthday. She was bummed!! :( However, her teacher did allow me to bring cupcakes and drinks on Thursday. Finally, Abbie got to celebrate her special day with her classmates. (Notice the boy in the far left corner. This is her boyfriend, Brock….. LOL!!!)
She loved being the center of attention and having everyone excited about eating cupcakes and celebrating with her. It’s hard to believe that she is nine!! My baby is getting big.

The cake turned out cute! I'm sure Abbie was happy with it. :) Looks like she had a great birthday this year. :)
