               SuperHeroes was our THEME for the night

My friends, Tiffany and Ali, surprised me and whipped up this SUPERGIRL to be displayed at our meeting. She was the perfect centerpiece for the night. Those ladies have got some talent!!! What great friends I have!!!

 

I ended up making capes for each girl to wear during their skit and when they introduced their value.

 

I also made these Lollipop cookies. I wanted to make one for each girl and display them in a bouquet on the table as part of the decorations to go along with our theme.

We started our evening off by having a dinner in the gym.  We had salad, four different kinds of soups and delicious rolls.  For dessert we had cream puffs and an assortments of sweet breads.

 

We placed shields around our SuperGirl.  The YW had written their testimonies on them about the importance of Personal Progress.

  

Here is a better picture to give you an idea of how big she was.  It looked FANTASTIC!!!

After everyone finished eating, we headed down to the Relief Society room and started our program.  Here are some pictures of how the room looked.

My counselor (my right arm/LOVE her), made cute gift bags for each girl.  She placed framed pictures of the scripture for the year as well as their own CTR rings in treat bags for each girl to take home. 

I was too busy to realize that the air vent was sucking our table cloth. 

           Capes perfectly placed and ready to be put on by each girl.

Our evening was a success. We had about 35 to 40 people that attended.  The girls were so proud to have their parents with them.  Everyone seemed  pleased with the evening, which made it all worth while.  The men were very kind and  took down all the tables and put up the chairs.  It gave us to a chance to clean the kitchen and get our things to our cars.  Believe it or not, we were out of the building at 8:35pm. YEE HAW!!!!!
