Mardi Gras Parade
We had a great time at the Krewe of Gemini Parade in Shreveport on Saturday. The youth temple trip was canceled late Friday evening. Michael had already been planning on taking the kids to visit his mom and go to the parade with all the girls. When plans changed, I knew that I wanted to go and enjoy the parade with everyone. Mom, Alan (girlfriend & her kids) went too. We couldn't have asked for better weather. We stayed the night with Michael's mom and had a great time. Mom's house was full with people so we stayed over at Sharon's. Abbie is already excited about going next year to the parade. We got a ton of beads, cups, candy, etc. She loved that adults were coming up to her just giving her things. You know that she LOVED all the attention. She also had a great time with her Nana, Granny, uncle and cousins. Austin didn't go. He went to Bass Pro with his daddy and hung out with him all day. We missed both of them. But, we brought Austin home tons of things that he would enjoy.

Looks like a good time was had by all. Glad you all had fun. :) Sorry to have missed the fun.
Love ya
Couldn't help but notice a fellow blogger on Clover Lane with the same name. Love the masks. We don't have anything like this here in Northern Canada. It's just too cold.
Take care,
Dana
The parade looks like so much fun.
Why didn't they have anything like this for us when we were growing up in Bossier. There was NEVER anything fun to do.
I love the masks. Did everyone get into the fun and wear masks and hats? It looks like silly, crazy fun.... I bet the adults loved it as much as the kids.
Love you,
Chris
