Believe it or not this is what we woke up too this morning. It snowed all day yesterday but nothing was sticking until last night. Isn’t this beautiful? The kids didn’t have school today. HOORAY!!! Abbie wanted to go to school to attend her Valentine Party. :( This is the first year that Austin wanted me to buy a gift for a “girl”. He picked out a certain box of chocolates that only had Hershey kisses in it (he had noticed her eating Hershey kisses and knew that she liked them). I also bought a cute little white stuffed bear for him to give her as well. He didn’t feel comfortable with the bear. Abbie was right there saying, “If Austin doesn’t want to give that bear to his “friend”, I will give it to my BOYFRIEND. ” Both Austin and I just stared at her with amazement at the things that come out of her mouth. I went ahead and packed everything in a pretty valentine’s bag and his face turned so red. Reality was sickin in that he would be giving his “girl” a special gift and all his buddies would be there watching him (the thought of all this was making him so NERVOUS!!). I guess, the kids will take their Valentine things on Monday to celebrate. I’m really enjoying the cold weather and looking forward to staying home all day (except I’m sneaking out to meet Michael at the gym at 2pm). I have felt guilty all morning for not working out. Am I crazy??

Good luck with Austin. I'm not sure my boys even realize Valentines is coming up. haha
Wow...I don't remember anything like this growing up. It's beautiful. Too bad it wasn't like that closer to Christmas. Wouldn't that have been a blast.
If is snows like that again...you need to take out the fourwheeler and sled!
