Nana came for a visit. She brought with her gifts and a fun ginger bread house to decorate. Both of the kids got into decorating it. They all enjoy projects. Later on in the evening we exchanged gifts.
Here is Abbie getting a necklace with a locket on it with the initial of a “R” on it. Nana also got her a big bag (purse) with glitter and sequins on it with the letter “A” on the bag. Abbie took this bag to church with her on Sunday. She put her scriptures inside and it was just darling.
Austin got a gift card to Game Stop. He was acting strange after receiving this gift. We all didn’t know what was wrong with him. He had changed his mind on us. He now only wanted money so he could purchase an Ipod Nano. These kids change their minds so quickly its hard to keep up with them. Nana, quickly changed things the next day. She bought his older playstation 2 set from him with some games and he was able to have enough with our help to purchase an ipod that he will not get to use until Christmas morning.
Here is Nana opening one of her gifts. We gave her the Rudolph car accessories kit. She and Phillip will be driving to Jan’s for Christmas and we wanted her to go in style. Also, we knew it would drive Jan nuts driving around St. Francisville with this on her mom’s car (he he he).
Doesn’t her car look ADORABLE!!! I wanted one for my car. Maybe, next year I will be so blessed to have one. We really enjoyed having her with us. It was a short visit but we were able to put a puzzle together, eat good food and laugh. What more can one ask for, right?
Here we are having just eaten a great lunch at Clear Springs. YUM!!!
Today, I’ve been wrapping Christmas gifts. It always bothers me when I seem to have more gifts for one child more than the other. I hope that I don’t have to go back to the store for more shopping. It’s now late in the day and I’ve still not showered. We have tithing settlement tonight so I guess I had better get dressed for the day.
