Abbie has been wanting a room that fit her personality for awhile now. She picked out the comforter and we took it from there. Sharon and I found this canopy at Canton and I knew that she would love it. I made a call to Abbie to have her pick out a color of canopy that she would want. Of course, she picked out this pink one. It was rather plain and wasn't the cutest one they had. But, I saw what it could be and added some glitz to it by using round mirrors and sequin material. This is her favorite new item in her room. I tweaked her curtains and they turned out okay. Then, I found this chandelier in vinyl lettering. That was my answer to not having to add a real chandelier in her room. I feel in love with it. I think it adds so much. She also now has a TV in her room. Thanks to Michael for getting me a flat screen tv for our bedroom for Mother's day. That happened to start a ripple affect. Austin got our old TV. And Abbie got Austin's old tv and she is stoked about having a tv in her room. She feels like a teenager. Her room is still a work in progress. I feel that she sees me working hard at putting things in it that she likes or else I hope she does. Who really knows when your dealing with Abbie.
