Weekend in Louisiana

One of the pig races.
Mom and Abbie trying to decide which way to go.

Doesn't Abbie look happy?

Austin enjoyed the trike races.

The grandparents with the kiddos.

Austin wanted to be buried in the corn.

Kodak moment of these two.

Austin loved shooting this thing. He only wished his daddy would have been there too.

The kids had a ball at this corn maize in Louisiana. This family that is in my parents ward run this corn maize and each year it gets bigger and better. They had three different maizes and at night they offer one that is haunted and things jump out and try to scare you. We had a hard time finding our way through each maize and it was during the day. I can't imagine doing it at night. I'm sure the teenagers have a ball doing it with their friends. This corn maize is open to the public and they offer three different maizes, pig races, a hayride, face painting, I don't know what you call these machines that shoot out tennis balls but the kids and guys loved it. Austin could have stayed doing this all day. We had a great time with granny and papaw. It was a lot of fun.
