After taking down all of my Christmas decorations, I had to replace my door with something. Of course I usually decorate my door with a Mardi Gras wreath but mine looked badly faded and needed a lift. Mom came to visit for a few days and we were backing out of my garage and Mother noticed something bright on my food shelving system. I stopped the car to get out and look and low and behold it was a brand new Mardi Gras wreath she had given me last year after the season. She had found it on sale and bought it for me. Who knows why I didn’t go ahead and hang it in the garage with my other wreaths?? I guess my mind was somewhere else (becoming more normal). Then I found this fleur de lis and a new flag to hang outside. We are now decked out and ready to celebrate.
