Photography Class Workshop in Austin

We made it a girl’s trip

We went down on Friday afternoon and did some shopping. We hit IKEA and some other stores.  On Saturday morning we ate a yummy breakfast at the hotel.  Then we needed to run an errand before my class started.  This is what was waiting on me when I got to my car!! Can you believe this? There was no broken glass anywhere. We think they just popped my mirror out and took off.  Michael has looked this up on the internet and apparently it has been a problem for awhile people stealing mirrors and tailgates. UGH!!!!! I swear I have the worst luck.

I had a great time at the workshop! Kristen, was very nice and helpful. Go HERE  for a link to her blog where she has uploaded pictures of our workshop. I took some pictures but a lot of mine didn’t  turn out because I was practicing using “manual” settings. Although, I took some of my partner that I liked.

 

So, I got inspired and stopped along the way home and took some pictures.

 

Don’t judge me too closely. I’m still learning and have a long way to go but you have to start somewhere, right?
