What a special day for the First grade class at Bullard Primary. The weather could not have been any better. There was snow on the roof tops and it looked so pretty. But, it was cold, cold for these kids. Of course, the kids were in thin pj's and were freezing. During the train ride, the kids heard the story of the Polar Express, had hot chocolate and a snack, sang songs and enjoyed greeting Santa at the North Pole. After the train ride, they went back to the depot and had lunch. All these children were just in awe over the whole experience. It was nice of the school to let them go. Palestine, TX takes about 45 minutes to get there in a car (imagine on a school bus). It was a great day!
